About usMy forward-thinking client are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IC Layout Engineer to support the development of high-speed integrated circuits for next-generation communication systems.Responsibilities:Develop physical layouts for integrated circuits used in advanced high-speed data communication systemsConduct verification at both block and top levels to ensure:Alignment with schematicsCompliance with fabrication and reliability standardsParticipate in cross-functional collaboration with hardware and systems teamsApply standardised design practices to support efficient and consistent development workflowsQualifications:Degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplineSolid experience in physical layout of RF or mixed-signal integrated circuitsSkilled in using industry-standard tools for IC design (e.g., Cadence or similar platforms)In-depth understanding of layout flows optimised for manufacturability and long-term reliabilityFamiliarity with advanced semiconductor technologies is a bonusStrong troubleshooting and independent problem-solving capabilitiesComfortable working in collaborative, fast-paced environmentsClear communicator with strong English skills (German is advantageous)Benefits:A position with autonomy and visibility in a lean organisational structureJoin a growing international team with a strong technical missionCareer development options across different levels and functionsModern office environment with flexible work arrangements and team perksContactIf the position sounds of interest, please feel free to apply below or alternatively reach out to me at rmiles@optimussearch.com
