Cybersecurity Expert (m/f/d)

These challenges await you

• You will support embedded software projects in the field of construction, agricultural, and municipal machinery throughout the entire software lifecycle. In doing so, you will ensure their compliance with the cybersecurity standards ISO 21434, IEC 62443, as well as the EU directives CRA 2024/2847 and RED 2014/53/EU.
• You will conduct cybersecurity vulnerability and threat analyses as well as risk assessments (TARA).
• Based on attack analyses, you will derive new concepts and requirements and initiate the improvement and adaptation of our development processes in accordance with recognized cybersecurity standards.
• Last but not least, you will serve as a point of contact for our project teams and support a broad transfer of knowledge throughout HYDAC Software GmbH on the topic of cybersecurity.

How you can impress us

• You have successfully completed a university degree with a focus on mechatronics, electrical engineering, or software engineering (Master’s/Diploma).
• You have extensive experience in machine development or a comparable position.
• You are familiar with the cybersecurity standards ISO 21434, IEC 62443, as well as the EU directives CRA 2024/2847 and RED 2014/53/EU.
• Ideally, you have experience with vehicle networking technologies, telemetry interfaces, and network technologies (Ethernet/TCP/IP/CAN), or experience in developing cybersecurity concepts using access/encryption technologies.
• You have a strong hands-on approach, are a team player, and are known for your structured work style.
• Your German and English skills are excellent.
