IT Infrastructure Specialist (m/f/d) for AI Technologies

Scope of Responsibilities

• Secure and professional setup and operation of cloud and on-premises infrastructures for AI/KI workloads
• Planning, migration, and integration of existing infrastructures into modern system environments
• Maintenance, upkeep, and operation of the deployed systems, including monitoring, performance optimization, and ensuring IT security
• Further development of the infrastructures based on the requirements of our AI/KI applications
• Design and implementation of scalable solutions for GPU clusters, data pipelines, and the hosting of AI/KI models
• Close collaboration with our specialist departments, both nationally and internationally

Requirements

• A successfully completed degree in computer science, or alternatively, technical training or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in setting up and operating complex IT infrastructures (cloud and on-premises)
• In-depth knowledge of container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
• Experience in operating AI platforms and GPU-based environments
• Proficiency with common cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) as well as automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools
• Independent, structured, and reliable work style combined with enthusiasm for new technologies
• Strong focus on solutions and quality, as well as analytical thinking skills in dynamic and complex environments
• Very good written and spoken German (at least C2 level) and very good written and spoken English (at least C1 level)
