Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities:
As a member of the Tonic team, you will work to support our renowned national and international customers with Tonic solutions. In this role, as a Tonic Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for developing the software (Tonic) and providing customer support.
This software controls the flow of goods for all necessary transports within a horizontal sorter system. Your responsibilities include all control-related software tasks for the complete automation of our systems:

You will maintain our existing Tonic systems, handle support requests, and document them

In doing so, you will analyze software-related issues and malfunctions (Tonic)

You will implement requested changes to the logic, the GUI, the interface, and data exchange with SCADA
-
You will work with various programming languages and tools such as C++, Linux, C#, .NET Framework, HTML, Azure DevOps Server, and Microsoft SQL Server databases

You will conduct tests remotely or on-site at our customers’ locations and commission the software you have modified

Creating user documentation and conducting project-specific training are also part of your job responsibilities
Job Requirements
What you bring to the table:

Your foundation is a technically oriented education, a degree in electrical engineering or (business) computer science, or comparable training or further education

Whether you have relevant professional experience or are just starting your career (m/f/d), we have personalized development opportunities for you

You are proficient in the programming languages C++ and C#

You have experience working with SQL-based databases

You are willing to take on on-call duties in the software sector (Tonic)

You are willing to travel to clients nationally and internationally
