We are looking for you as

Senior Data Expert & Data Governance Specialist (m/f/d)

In this role, you will work across the entire group and design data-driven structures spanning multiple companies.

Your responsibilities:

• You will support our group of companies on its journey toward becoming a data-driven organization and implement data governance structures across the business units. In doing so, you will empower them to fulfill their roles and responsibilities (e.g., role understanding, data catalog maintenance, data quality).
• You will support the business units in analyzing their data, identify correlations, and break down data silos.
• You design, develop, and operate end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines for the preparation and provision of relevant data—these form the basis for future AI structures, Agentic AI, as well as the creation and further development of digital twin applications for the data-driven mapping and analysis of real-world processes and systems.
• You will continuously develop our data warehouses, integrate new data sources, and create meaningful dashboards.
• With your technical expertise and innovative ideas, you will increase the efficiency of the entire company and promote data-driven decision-making processes.
• You bring a keen sense for digital solutions and critically evaluate existing processes to optimize them for the long term.

Your Profile:

• You have in-depth knowledge and several years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst in the operation of stable ETL pipelines, data warehouse solutions, and data analytics tools—ideally with MS SQL, Talend, QlikSense, or comparable tools.
• You can communicate complex technical issues clearly to various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, big data technologies, cloud platforms, APIs, and various data formats is part of your daily work.
• You are enthusiastic about modern technologies, enjoy working in a team, and stand out through your creativity, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills.
• You enjoy familiarizing yourself with new tools and systems and view change as an opportunity for further development.
• With passion and your open-minded approach, you drive the establishment and further development of data governance within the company.
• You have very good German language skills at a minimum C1 level (certificate or native speaker).
