Responsibilities

Your role:

You are our first in-house IT specialist—and that is exactly what makes this role special. You will evolve our IT infrastructure from a well-established environment into a future-proof, structured landscape. No corporate ticketing system, no siloed thinking—but true ownership of the network, servers, cloud, and end devices.

Your responsibilities include:

• Administration and further development of our network and firewall infrastructure (Fortinet FortiGate, VLANs, VPN, segmentation)
• Operation and optimization of our Windows Server environment, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization (Hyper-V / VMware)
• Administration of our Microsoft 365 tenant – Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID, and Intune
• Technical responsibility for our ERP system: updates, interfaces, and collaboration with external providers
• Standardized endpoint management for Windows and iOS, including onboarding & offboarding
• Establishment of a robust IT security and compliance structure: authorization concept, backup strategy, documentation
• Automation of routine processes using PowerShell or Python

Qualifications

Your Profile:

• Several years of experience as an IT System Engineer or Administrator
• In-depth expertise in at least two areas: Networking/Firewall, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Virtualization, or IT Security
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate as well as Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and GPOs
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune
• Structured, proactive approach to work – you don’t wait for tickets; you identify the need for action yourself
• Nice-to-have: Experience in a production environment (OT/IT), certifications (Fortinet, Microsoft), or knowledge of ISO 27001 / NIS2
