Our headquarters is our 11,000-square-meter photo studio in Bremen, where we currently employ approximately 200 people.

We are looking for a Senior System Engineer (m/f/d) for our Bremen location.

Responsibilities

As a Senior System Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and will play a key role in its further development and optimization. Your main responsibilities include:

• System administration (Linux, Windows) and virtualization (Proxmox, VMware)
• Network and security solutions with a focus on Fortinet and SentinelOne
• Setup and operation of cloud solutions (e.g., O365 / Entra ID)
• Monitoring (e.g., Greenbone, Monitos) and automation (OpenTofu, scripting)
• Storage clusters (Dell Isilon / Huawei Dorado) and backup strategies (Veeam)
• Implementation and operation of containers (Docker Swarm or, if applicable, Kubernetes) as well as databases (MariaDB / MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Collaboration on infrastructure projects such as the introduction of new technologies, migrations, and optimizations

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in system engineering
• Very good knowledge of Windows Server (MCSA level) or in-depth knowledge of Linux administration, as well as IT security tools or Fortinet network technology
• Knowledge of cloud web services, backup tools, scripting, IT emergency manuals, monitoring (Greenbone, Monitos), container orchestration (Kubernetes or Docker Swarm), and databases (MariaDB/MySQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus
• Soft Skills: ability to work independently, teamwork, problem-solving skills, customer focus, service-oriented mindset, flexibility, and a genuine enthusiasm for technology
• Excellent German and English language skills
• You bring analytical foresight and have a strong commitment to quality
