User Help Desk & Infrastructure Team Leader (m/f/d)

We are seeking a Team Leader (m/f/d) for our IT Department / User Help Desk & Infrastructure Team to start as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:

  • Empowering employees: You will take on the technical leadership of the eight-member User Helpdesk & Infrastructure team and foster open, solution-oriented communication even when dealing with challenging issues. In addition, you will identify development potential, promote strengths, and regularly conduct development discussions.
  • Designing IT service processes: You will optimize IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, drive automation forward, and sustainably reduce incident resolution times.
  • Modernizing infrastructure: The continuous support and optimization of services in the on-premises data center and the Azure Cloud are just as much a part of your responsibilities as long-term planning and organization for the renewal of the hardware and software in use.
  • Ensuring security: You enjoy the targeted selection and implementation of state-of-the-art technologies for identifying and defending against malicious threats just as much as establishing needs-based processes and controls to safeguard our IT security.
  • Planning resources: In close coordination with related IT teams, you will coordinate staffing for interdisciplinary projects and ensure service continuity in daily operations (including vacation and absence planning).
  • Developing skills: You not only know how to motivate and drive the targeted professional development of your employees, but also raise the team’s awareness of the importance of needs-based communication with our internal customers.

Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d), a degree in (business) informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  • In addition, you have several years of relevant professional experience in IT service management, particularly in designing and optimizing processes in 1st & 2nd-level support.
  • Ideally, you already have experience leading diverse teams as well as ITIL certifications.
  • For your responsibilities as Team Leader User Helpdesk & Infrastructure (m/f/d), you will draw on your in-depth knowledge of administering hybrid Microsoft infrastructures.
  • Your analytical thinking helps you navigate complex structures to manage emerging issues independently and in a results-oriented manner.
  • Thanks to your strong interpersonal skills and confident demeanor, you always act in a service- and customer-oriented manner.
