What you can look forward to

• Diverse opportunities in platform engineering to participate in the design of a modern data tech stack and set your own priorities
• Administration and further development of the central Kubernetes platform (Kubernetes, Cilium, containerd, Prometheus Stack, etc.)
• Administration and further development of the Lakehouse platform based on Stackable (Apache Iceberg, Apache Spark, Trino, OPA, etc.)
• Administration and further development of the event platform (Apache Kafka) to decouple company-wide Service2Service communication
• GitOps and deployment procedures for very large cluster environments using Ansible and Terraform
• Close collaboration with and support for users and customers of the platforms within your area of responsibility

Your Profile

• Degree in (Business) Computer Science or a comparable technical field
• Solid experience in the operation and further development of distributed architectures
• Very good knowledge of container (orchestration) or big data platforms is desirable
• Openness and passion for open source, as well as very good Linux skills
• Strong innovative ability and openness to new technological developments, especially in the data space
• The mindset to automate any task that might need to be repeated
• Business-level German proficiency (min. C1 level)
