Computer Scientist / IT Specialist or MTLA with an affinity for IT as an Application Support Specialist (m/f/d) for medical applications

Responsibilities

• You will advise and support our customers regarding the systems in use
• You will be responsible for coordinating, processing, and managing customer requests
• In addition, you will handle the technical installation and configuration of the order-entry product as well as second-level support for our laboratory locations
• Furthermore, your responsibilities will include managing your own sub-projects and implementing project tasks
• You will ensure the stable operation of the applications in use
• You will handle troubleshooting and error correction in collaboration with the manufacturer
• You will manage various service providers regarding the system in use
• Your maintenance and upkeep of the applications in use form the foundation for this

Profile

• You have successfully completed a degree or vocational training in the IT field, or you have completed training as an MTLA / MTA (m/f/d) with a strong affinity for IT
• In addition, you have at least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable environment
• You have basic knowledge of operating Linux systems
• Knowledge of order entry systems (ideally with ixserv) is an advantage
• Ideally, you have knowledge of medical data exchange formats such as HL7 and LDT
• Alternatively, initial experience with laboratory, physician, or hospital information systems (LIS, HIS, AIS) would be advantageous
• Good German language skills are a prerequisite for this position
• You enjoy taking on responsibility and working in a team
• Your solution- and customer-oriented mindset, along with strong communication skills, round out your profile
