The Berlin Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (a public-law corporation) is seeking a full-time (part-time possible) employee for its IT Business Solutions department to start as soon as possible on a permanent basis:
IT Service Manager for Statutory Health Insurance (GKV) Billing (Direct Billing)
You will serve as the point of contact for our departments regarding IT services in the area of billing, particularly for the billing of Hybrid-DRG and ASV (outpatient specialist care). You will assume responsibility for these IT services and thus play a central role in the technical billing processes of statutory health insurance (GKV). Your work has a direct impact on the correct and timely payment of fees to contracted physicians. Combining your interest in healthcare and statutory health insurance with IT expertise and an understanding of processes, you will ensure the stable, efficient, and quality-assured operation of the billing systems as well as their further development.
Your Area of Responsibility

Independent responsibility for IT billing services for Hybrid-DRG and ASV (outpatient specialist care)

Monitoring the availability and operational reliability of the IT components involved in the IT service, as well as ensuring stable and timely processing (including error handling)

Advising business units on the identification and design of technical requirements, including the assessment of effort, benefits, and technical feasibility

Analysis of processes—including cross-process analysis—as well as requirements from business units as a basis for the implementation of IT solutions

Defining, implementing, and automating system interfaces (e.g., to the payroll system, financial accounting, or rights management systems)

Monitoring compliance with quality guidelines/goals and deriving any necessary corrective measures for your IT service
Your Profile

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business informatics, or a comparable field

Alternatively, a completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist with relevant professional experience and subsequent qualified continuing education

Demonstrable experience in project/process management as well as in the use of documentation and reporting tools

Understanding of complex IT architectures and interlinked process landscapes

Demonstrable comprehensive knowledge of database management and confident use of SQL

Strong analytical skills, a structured and independent work style, and excellent problem-solving skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as a team-oriented mindset
