We are an innovative company in the wind energy sector based in Neunkirchen/Saar. Our group currently employs over 350 people worldwide. We develop, manufacture, and sell wind turbines that are in high demand on the global market due to their technical advantages. Therefore, to strengthen our team, we are looking for a:

IT/OT Security Specialist for Wind Energy (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

• Establishing, further developing, and implementing IT and OT security within our company (with a focus on practical implementation, not just documentation)
• Conducting risk analyses and implementing concrete security measures
• Securing and monitoring our OT systems in the context of wind turbines (e.g., SCADA, control technology)
• Contributing to the implementation of regulatory requirements (NIS2, CRA, GDPR)
• Analysis and handling of security incidents and vulnerabilities
• Conducting awareness campaigns and training sessions

Your Profile:

• Degree or training in computer science, IT security, automation technology, or comparable qualifications
• Initial experience in IT security and ideally in the OT environment (e.g., industry, energy, critical infrastructure)
• Good understanding of networks, firewalls, and industrial systems (e.g., SCADA)
• Knowledge of common security standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., BSI Basic Protection, NIS2, CRA, GDPR) is a plus
• Interest in securing wind turbines and OT systems
• Good written and spoken English skills
