You will be responsible for these varied areas of responsibility:

• Updating, maintaining, and servicing server and client systems
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows workstations
• Managing backup and recovery processes
• Maintenance and further development of CAD/CAM, ERP, and PDM systems
• Creation and maintenance of documentation
• Troubleshooting
• Supporting and coordinating the integration of new software in the department

What you bring to the table:

• Completed vocational training in IT with a specialization in system integration or a comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the field
• An independent, structured, and process-oriented approach to work, as well as the ability to grasp concepts quickly
• Ability to work in a team
• Very good German and English language skills

The following are desirable:

• Hyper-V and VMware virtualization
• Networking: Routing, Switching, VLAN, VPN, and SAN
• Databases: Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, MS Access
• Administration of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Routing/RAS, DSF
• Firewall, experience with Sophos
• Data backup concepts
• MS Office 365
• Administration: SolidWorks, SolidWorks Enterprise PDM, Inventor, Autodesk
