That is exactly why we are looking for an IT System Administrator (m/f/d).

You will work directly on-site as part of the team—this is intentional and part of our work culture. Remote work is not an option for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, implementation, and independent administration of IT infrastructures in the Windows Server environment
• Support and further development of Microsoft 365 environments for our SME clients
• Administration and optimization of virtualization platforms
• Design, implementation, and monitoring of backup strategies
• Configuration and maintenance of network components (including VLANs, firewalls)
• Analysis and sustainable resolution of issues at the 2nd and 3rd levels (remotely and occasionally on-site)
• Technical consulting for our clients on infrastructure and security issues
• Documentation and structured further development of existing system landscapes

Job Requirements:

Required:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in the administration of IT infrastructures
• Business-level proficiency in written and spoken German (minimum C2 level) due to direct customer communication
• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable qualification

In-depth knowledge and practical experience in the following areas:

• Independent administration of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory
• Support for Microsoft 365 tenants in the SME environment
• Administration of virtualization environments Implementation and monitoring of backup strategies (e.g., using Veeam) Network administration, particularly VLAN configuration Firewall administration
• Class B driver’s license
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work Ability to work in a team and a professional demeanor
• Desirable: Experience with common virtualization solutions (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox)
• Knowledge of setting up and maintaining 3CX VoIP systems Experience working with Linux servers Business-level English proficiency
