Head (m/f/d) of Modern Workplace

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Leadership and further development of the Modern Workplace team
  • Developing and implementing strategies for the Modern Workplace that meet the company’s current and future requirements; including Workplace Services (Endpoint Design & Management), Asset Management, Collaboration & Communication, and IT Business Products
  • Regularly reviewing and optimizing existing IT systems and processes with regard to their efficiency, security, and user-friendliness
  • Responsibility for planning, executing, and monitoring projects to introduce and improve workplace technologies
  • Evaluating new technologies and tools for their suitability and benefits to the company, as well as their successful integration into the existing IT infrastructure
  • Working closely with other departments to understand their requirements and develop customized IT solutions

Requirements

  • A successfully completed degree in economics, computer science, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in IT workplace management, ideally in a leadership position
  • ITIL Foundation (V3 or higher) certification or advanced certifications in service management are desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of endpoint management, Microsoft 365, and asset management
  • Confident, professional demeanor combined with strong communication skills and a strong customer and service orientation
  • A proactive, structured, and independent work style with a high degree of teamwork
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to make operational decisions in line with overarching corporate goals and to consider long-term developments
  • Excellent written and spoken German (C2 level) as well as good written and spoken English (at least C1 level)
