Responsibilities

• As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you design secure IT systems, networks, and cloud environments and ensure that modern technologies are reliably protected. With your big-picture perspective, you develop security concepts that deliver measurable results and ensure clear structures.
• You analyze risks, conduct penetration tests, and assess vulnerabilities across the entire technology stack. In doing so, you use standard security tools and assess threat scenarios in a well-founded and practical manner.
• In your day-to-day work, you monitor security-related events, identify anomalies, and initiate appropriate incident response measures. This ensures that incidents are quickly classified and effectively addressed.
• You support departments and projects with clear recommendations on IT security and compliance. You translate complex requirements into pragmatic, actionable measures.
• In addition, you contribute to the further development of our security policies and standards such as ISO 27001, BSI Basic Protection, KRITIS, and NIS2, and actively incorporate your expertise into our security strategy.

Requirements

• You hold a degree in computer science, IT security, or a comparable qualification that enables you to navigate technical issues with confidence.
• Your several years of experience in IT security—ideally in the areas of network security, cloud security, and threat management—enables you to confidently solve complex challenges.
• You have in-depth knowledge of security architectures, firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption technologies, and common security frameworks. In addition, you have practical experience with vulnerability management tools and penetration testing and apply them effectively.
• You are familiar with regulatory requirements such as KRITIS and NIS2 and know how to implement them in an operational environment. Your analytical thinking helps you quickly assess situations and make pragmatic decisions. At the same time, you enjoy making processes not only more secure but also more efficient.
• You enjoy working in a team and are eager to actively contribute to agile projects and develop modern security solutions together with others.
• You also communicate confidently in German and English—fluent in both languages and appropriate to the situation.
