To strengthen our Sensor Technology Team located in Wietmarschen-Lohne offering flexible working hours and the option for home office we are looking for a Senior R&D Engineer - Ultrasound & Sensor Systems (all genders welcome) Leveraging your expertise in nondestructive testing (NDT) - spanning ultrasonic measurement technology, sensor development and intelligent inspection and data evaluation methods - you significantly influence our key development programs and future technology domains. As an experienced team player, you work in an interdisciplinary setup with mechanics, electronics and software and take a key role along the entire product development lifecycle - from requirements definition and system architecture through to verification, validation and release. With profound knowledge of relevant development, product and standards landscapes as well as your experience in their practical implementation, you contribute to the overall success of our projects You work closely with an interdisciplinary and international team across mechanics, electronics, and software, driving high-tech solutions for demanding applications Proven track record in system and architecture design of sensor systems, including requirements engineering, interface definition and hardware/software specification Solid, broad-based expertise in established measurement technologies and their practical use in industrial applications like condition monitoring and non-destructive testing Several years of experience in the design of sensors and sensor electronics (analog frontends, A/D conversion, noise optimization, EMC-compliant design) Familiarity with relevant standards and guidelines in measurement technology and their implementation in development projects Experience in dealing with intellectual property (patents, freedom-to-operate analyses, IP monitoring) In-depth market and technology knowledge to support well-founded make-or-buy decisions Structured, self-driven and team-oriented working style combined with excellent communication skills in both German and English Development and career opportunities in a global, innovative and long-term oriented group of companies with family character Flexible working hours, working time accounts and Home Office possible Employer funded pension, capital accumulation benefits and discounted insurance offers (occupational disability insurance and other direct insurance policies) Attractive leasing offers for IT-products and bikes for private use Discounted charging facilities for electric vehicles directly at the company location Corporate Benefits - employee offers in changing online shops at top conditions
