We are looking for a "Head of" for the "Fighter Radar Test Means Design" department which is part of the "Fighter Radar Engineering" at our Ulm location as soon as possible.

Fighter Radar Test Means Design
The "Fighter Radar Test Means Design" department is responsible for the topics development and in-service support of the Fighter Radar Test Equipments (Enabling Systems) for all Fighter Radar products (Eurofighter Captor-M, Captor-E, ECRS Mk1), which are developed by HENSOLDT.
20 employees within the "Fighter Radar Test Means Design" department in Ulm (both disciplinary and functionally) and continuously foster the individual skills and career development of your team members.
Project Management & Coordination: You plan and steer the development of test equipment (test means) in alignment with contractual agreements and regulations, working in close alignment with intersecting departments.
Tendering Support: You are responsible for conceptualizing new test means development projects, including precise effort estimations to support technical proposals.
Quality & Risk Management: You monitor development projects through structured design reviews to ensure high-quality outcomes, while proactively identifying and mitigating technical risks.
Governance & Compliance: You guarantee the reliable adherence to all organizational and regulatory duties within your area of responsibility.
Leadership Experience: Several years of experience in functional or disciplinary leadership of interdisciplinary teams, combined with the ability to integrate, motivate, and guide highly qualified employees toward common goals.
Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken) for confident communication in an international environment.
Methodological Expertise (optional): Experience in project management and relevant certifications in the field of system testing.
