Project Lead

We are supporting a specialist planning consultancy that is looking to appoint a Project Lead. This role will focus on leading the delivery of a planning integration project, working closely with the client to shape the solution, manage project direction, and ensure successful delivery. The specific planning platform is flexible, although Anaplan experience would be highly beneficial. Pigment experience would also be relevant.

This is a functional, client-facing role suited to someone who understands multidimensional planning, has previously delivered planning tool implementations, and is confident leading both the client relationship and the solution design process.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading the delivery of a planning integration project
• Working closely with client stakeholders to understand requirements and shape the solution approach
• Owning project direction across discovery, design, implementation and delivery
• Translating business planning requirements into clear functional and technical workstreams
• Supporting solution design across planning, forecasting, reporting and integration use cases
• Working with delivery teams to ensure project milestones, scope and quality are managed effectively
• Advising the client on best practice across planning processes, data flows and multidimensional model design
• Acting as the key point of contact between the client and wider project team
• Helping to identify risks, unblock issues and keep delivery moving at pace

What we’re looking for

• Experience leading planning system implementation or integration projects
• Strong functional understanding of enterprise planning, forecasting, reporting or performance management
• Hands-on or delivery experience with Anaplan, Pigment or a similar planning platform
• Strong conceptual understanding of multidimensional planning models
• Ability to lead client conversations around requirements, solution design and delivery approach
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and project leadership skills
• Available to start at short notice or able to move quickly through an interview process
