Our client is a successful and well-established European private equity fund, with their team looking for an Associate to be based in Frankfurt. The fund has an excellent track record across multiple fund cycles and a strong deal pipeline. They invest in buyouts with a focus on business services, healthcare, and industrial tech. This position offers a long-term career path in a dynamic environment and within a highly driven team. What the job involves

You will be an essential member of the team with exposure to the full lifecycle of investments from acquisition through to exit
You will be collaborating, influencing, and executing strategic changes across the portfolio companies to build strategic and financial value in close cooperation with management teams
High degree of responsibility from the start, hands-on work and close interaction with the senior team members
Leveraging new technologies (e.g. AI/LLMs) to enhance research, analysis, and investment processes

Who we are looking for

Relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, or PE consulting with a proven track record of deal execution roles
Strong analytical, financial modelling, and quantitative skill set
Team player with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset and high level of ownership
Growth-oriented individual who thrives in a high-performance, collaborative environment
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
Interest and experience in using new technologies (e.g. AI/LLMs) to improve efficiency
Persuasive verbal and written communication in English and German
