FINANCE PROJECT MANAGER – RENEWABLE ENERGY & INFRASTRUCTURE – HAMBURG

Are you a project-finance professional with experience structuring and delivering complex renewable-energy financings? Do you want broader ownership across financial modelling, lender engagement and financing execution?

We are looking for finance professionals for current and upcoming Project Finance Manager opportunities across Germany's renewable-energy market.

The Market Opportunity

These roles sit within growing renewable-energy and infrastructure platforms with a leading IPP company, supporting projects through financing, construction and operational phases.

You will work closely with senior finance leadership, lenders, advisers and project teams to structure bankable financing solutions and manage the financial requirements of major energy assets. Help manage and develop their major multi-GW portfolio.

Typical Scope

• Build and develop financial models covering project valuation, cash flow, debt sizing, sensitivities and financing scenarios.
• Support the structuring and execution of project, portfolio and HoldCo financings.
• Engage with banks, lenders, investors, facility agents and external advisers throughout financing processes.
• Coordinate financial, legal, technical, tax and insurance due diligence.
• Review and negotiate financing documentation, credit agreements and commercial terms.
• Support financing processes through to financial close.
• Manage lender reporting, covenant compliance, consents, waivers and other post-close obligations where required.
• Contribute to the development of financing processes and internal governance.

About You

• Relevant experience in project finance, structured finance, infrastructure finance, lending, advisory or renewable-energy investment.
• Strong financial-modelling and commercial-analysis capability.
• Understanding of non-recourse debt, HoldCo debt, mezzanine or other structured-financing solutions.
• Experience working with lenders, capital providers and external advisers.
• Confident stakeholder-management and negotiation skills.
• Professional fluency in German and English.
• Experience within solar, BESS, wind or wider energy infrastructure would be beneficial.
