Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain internal AML and counter-terrorist financing policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
Provide subject matter expertise and regulatory guidance to business units and support functions across the first line of defence.
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, assess their impact on the organisation, and support the implementation of required changes.
Oversee and continuously improve AML governance structures, controls, and monitoring activities to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
Participate in enterprise-wide risk assessments focused on money laundering, terrorist financing, and broader financial crime risks.
Support internal projects by providing AML compliance expertise and helping embed regulatory requirements into business processes.
Contribute to the enhancement of compliance standards, control frameworks, and risk management practices.
Candidate Profile
Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Economics, or a related discipline.
Professional experience within banking, financial services, compliance, risk management, or anti-money laundering.
Solid understanding of AML regulations, financial crime prevention, and regulatory expectations within the financial sector.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and structured approach to work.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and reliability.
Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with stakeholders across multiple functions.
