Associate Director Compliance Investigations

Our client is an innovative, global life sciences organisation at the forefront of medical innovation. As part of the continued development of its global compliance programme, the company is seeking an experienced Global Compliance Investigator to join its international Legal and Compliance team.

The role will ideally be based close to Frankfurt or worked remotely from another part of Germany or could also be based in London, with travel to Germany and internationally.

This is a highly visible international role, responsible for leading internal compliance investigations into potential breaches of company policies, the Code of Conduct and applicable laws and regulations. You will play an important role in maintaining and continuously improving the organisation's investigations programme while helping to uphold the highest ethical and compliance standards across the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting and managing internal compliance investigations.
• Supporting the ongoing development of investigation procedures, protocols and whistleblowing processes.
• Identifying trends and recommending enhancements to compliance controls and processes.
• Delivering training and guidance on investigations and compliance matters.
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and managing external advisers and service providers where required.

About You

You will have a degree in Law or another relevant discipline together with at least five years' experience leading internal compliance investigations within an international organisation.

Experience gained within the life sciences sector would be advantageous but is by no means essential. More important is your ability to conduct complex investigations with integrity, sound judgement and discretion.

You will also possess:

• Fluency in both English and German.
• Excellent analytical, interviewing and communication skills.
• The ability to build credibility with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.
• A collaborative approach combined with sound judgement.
