Job description

• Build and maintain relationship with public authorities at different levels related to Xiaomi business, including ministries, local authorities etc.
• Provide in-depth analysis of industry policies and regulations related to Xiaomi's business in Europe, identifying and monitoring potential risks and giving policy advice.
• Coordinate industrial association memberships relevant to Xiaomi's business and develop and manage a network of contacts with industrial partners.
• Represent Xiaomi's position in regular interactions with different actors in government, think tanks, international organizations and other public agencies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with local business units (such as R&D, sales and marketing teams) and provide support for relevant issues.
• Assist various business teams to conduct policy analysis and facilitate activities on European level.

Job requirement

• Experience in dealing with government departments and public authorities, 3 years working experience in the government or GR/PA department of corporations or consultancy is preferred.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of relevant current policies and regulations, including in transport/mobility/automotive sector.
• Objective-oriented and good business sense, strong analytical skills, self-motivated and entrepreneurial, excellent self-management skills, ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong socializing skills and outstanding competence of interpersonal communication, able to represent Xiaomi in a positive manner.
• A Bachelor Degree or above, ideally in Public Relations, International Studies, Political Science, Engineering, or similar disciplines.
• Fluent German speaker with additional profound English spoken and written skills.
