We’re on the lookout for experienced freelance nurses to support an ongoing clinical study, delivering care directly in patients’ homes. This is a part-time, flexible role that fits perfectly around your existing commitments/ job.

🩺 What You’ll Be Doing

As a Mobile Research Nurse, you’ll bring clinical trials to life in a community setting. You’ll visit patients in their homes and carry out study-related procedures with professionalism and care.

Each patient will require a series of scheduled visits (Days 4, 7, 11, 14, and 18), with each visit lasting around 2 hours. The study itself will run for approximately 20 months, offering consistent opportunities over time.

🔬 Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

• Conducting structured home visits for patients recovering from acute ischaemic stroke
• Carrying out clinical procedures such as:
• Blood draws (venepuncture)
• Administering injections
• Recording ECGs
• Cannulation
• Accessing and managing Port-a-Cath devices
• Ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant
• Keeping in touch with the study team as needed
• Delivering a high standard of patient-focused care at every visit

✅ What You Bring

• Registered Nurse with post-qualification experience
• Previous clinical research experience is highly valued
• Confidence in hands-on clinical skills
• Up-to-date GCP certification (or ready to complete it quickly)
• Appropriate immunisations for clinical work
• Selbstständige(r) Krankenschwester /Krankenpfleger status with flexible availability ( 2-4 hours per week)
