Protestant Music Service Support- $50.00 Per Hour (working approx 2- 3 hours per week)– Rose Barracks Community Chapel & Other USAG Bavaria Locations, Germany

The Role

Are you an experienced musician who can lead and support Protestant worship through meaningful music? Looking for a flexible opportunity where your musical talents can make a lasting impact within a welcoming faith community?

We are seeking a Protestant Music Service Support professional to provide musical leadership and support for worship services at Rose Barracks Community Chapel and other designated USAG Bavaria locations in Germany.

This flexible 1099 contractor opportunity offers an estimated 2–3 hours of work per week and is ideal for someone who enjoys planning, coordinating, and performing music in a worship setting. The contract includes a one-year base period with the potential for four additional one-year option periods.

As Protestant Music Service Support, you will work alongside the Religious Support Office (RSO) to help deliver inspiring weekly worship services, seasonal celebrations, and ceremonial events through music.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and perform musical selections for Protestant worship services.
• Provide music support for approximately 52 weekly worship services each year.
• Support approximately 16 seasonal and ceremonial services annually.
• Conduct approximately 68 weekly rehearsals each year.
• Work closely with the Religious Support Office to ensure music is prepared and delivered to a high standard.
• Perform at Rose Barracks Community Chapel and other designated USAG Bavaria locations as required.
• Submit invoices and required service documentation in accordance with contract requirements.

The Person:

To succeed as Protestant Music Service Support, you should have:

• Experience planning and performing music for Protestant worship services.
• The ability to lead or support choir rehearsals and musical performances.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Reliability and professionalism.
• The ability to meet U.S. military installation access requirements.
• A willingness to complete all required security and awareness training.
