Senior Software Engineer

Trust in Soda are currently partnering with a pioneering force in the retail industry, determined to make stores smarter and shopping better. Utilising cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence technology paving the way for smarter retail solutions.

Following successful deployments across Germany and Europe,they are now looking to expand their team to take their retail AI solutions to new heights. As a senior member of their tech team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of retail technology. Your tasks will include:

• Developing soft real-time runtime for video-based AI solutions
• Integrating embedded GPU/NPU hardware platforms

Your skills:

• Strong Python skills
• Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with Linux systems and test-driven development
• Enjoy mentoring and engaging with other developers
• Familiarity with professional software development processes, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Docker
• Knowledge of Gstreamer/ffmpeg and similar multimedia frameworks is a plus
• Exposure to C/C++, CUDA, Tensorflow/PyTorch, and other languages/frameworks is beneficial

While proficiency in Python, Linux systems, and test-driven development is preferred, my client values diverse experiences and perspectives.

The role will be based 2 days on site in Berlin and the company offers various benefits including Shares, Transport subsidies, free lunches and a salary of up to €85,000 with potential flexibility.
